12/8 Angel Tree – Donations needed by 12/7. We’ll be sorting and shopping for gifts in the warehouse to ensure that children in need can have a special Christmas morning. If anyone would like to donate new toys, clothes, shoes, or books, please drop off donations with Paige or Cheyenne. We will take the donations on 12/8.They are most in need of items for older boys and girls, ages 10-16. You can also use this link if you’d like to donate online or sign up to be a volunteer bell ringer: https://www.salvationarmylouisville.org/
Sabine and her family were able to sign up on Black-Friday to help bring in those much-needed donations.
12/10 World Human Rights Day – On Human Rights Day, we will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Declaration, a milestone celebration called Human Rights 75 (HR 75). Human Rights Day will capture all the moments from this year’s commemoration and seeks to increase knowledge on the universality and indivisibility of human rights, especially among young people, inspire people to create a movement of shared humanity while empowering them to fight for their rights and take action.
12/15 Holiday Get Together/National Cookie Day 3:30-5pm – Louisville staff, please plan to join us at HQ for a holiday gift exchange! We’ll provide heavy appetizers and are encouraging employees to bring one to two dozen of your favorite cookies that we can share! Gifts should be in the $25 range and unisex. If anyone feels they can’t afford a gift but still wants to participate, we’ll reimburse you up to $25 with your receipt.
12/21 First Day of Winter – As the days seem to be getting shorter, the winter solstice is quickly approaching. The winter solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year, according to the National Weather Service. This occurs because of the Earth’s tilt from the Sun. During the winter solstice, the tilt brings the Earth to its farthest point from the Sun. Therefore, it leaves the Earth with less sunlight and more darkness.
12/22 Early Office Closure – Breakfast provided by Strategic! Please RSVP via calendar invite for a headcount. Kathy has kindly blessed us with an early Christmas break 😊 Please work a 5-hour shift, no lunch break required.
12/25 & 26 – Christmas Holidays – Offices will be closed. We hope everyone enjoys this time off with family and friends. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
1/1 & 2 – New Years – Offices will be closed. We will resume normal business hours on January 3.May the New Year bring you happiness, peace, and prosperity.

Employees of the Month
Cheyenne Meredith – “Cheyenne embodies teamwork. Over the last year, she has filled in across multiple departments. No matter what the day brings or how she is feeling, she keeps a positive mentality and wants to help. Her spirit rubs off on others and I’m so grateful for her and the person she is! We love you, Chey.”
Neal Heumann – “Since joining our team, Neal has proven to be a tremendous asset. He immediately stepped into an extremely difficult Cloud Team project and added much needed support and expertise. Neal is currently providing Project Management support to augment the AV team, filling a critical role that had been recently vacated, while a search for a replacement candidate is carried out. He is a true team player who is operating a bit outside his comfort zone but has embraced the challenge and is off to a great start!”
Rob Steagall – “Rob has really taken on extra responsibility in Brian’s absence. He is keeping everything running and we couldn’t do it without him. Rob is a great employee and wants everyone to succeed. Thanks Rob!”
