Secure Supply Chain for DoD Agencies

As a Value Added Reseller (VAR) and Integrator, Strategic Communications ensures the products we sell to the DoD are TAA Compliant and meet ongoing CMMC requirements. To further support the DoD in providing the most reliable and secure products for mission readiness, Strategic employs a number of program certifications and procedures.

O-TTPS Certification Program

The aim of the O-TTPS Certification Program is to assure customers of the integrity of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) information and ICT products worldwide and to safeguard global supply chains against increasingly sophisticated security attacks.

Intended to assure integrity in technology development and to prevent maliciously tainted and counterfeit products from entering the supply chain, the certification program will ensure applicants conform to the O-TTPS standard.

Demonstration of conformance through this independent, voluntary O-TTPS Certification Program process provides formal recognition of an organization’s conformance to this industry standard. Successful applicants will gain certification and can use the Open Trusted Technology Provider trademarked logo.

ISO 9001:2015 Certification

ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:

a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and

b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Cybersecurity Maturation Model Certification (CMMC)

In supporting the DoD’s initiative to enhance protection of controlled unclassified information within the supply chain, Strategic Communications ensures our products meet specified levels of the Cybersecurity Maturation Model Certification (CMMC) requirements. These levels range from basic cyber hygiene to advanced. Each level of CMMC is designed to reduce the risk of specific sets of cyber threats to the DoD supply chain.

Trade Agreements Act (TAA) Compliance

Strategic Communications ensures the products we sell to the DoD meet required Trade Agreements Act (TAA) Compliance. These products are either manufactured or substantially transformed in the US or a TAA designated country.
